“Rectal exam/allergy testing… You’re welcome america” The subject, April 13, 2015. His caption, verbatim.

Most men undergo a medical appointment. The subject served one. By his own account, he did it for the nation, and the Bureau has reconstructed the afternoon from the available evidence, which is the photograph and his caption.

1. 1:31 PM The subject arrives at the clinic. Asked the reason for his visit, he says “freedom.” The receptionist writes “allergy panel.”
2. 1:38 PM Forty needles are pressed into his back. He refuses anaesthetic, on the grounds that the Founding Fathers did not have any.
3. 1:47 PM The second procedure begins, the one he disclosed to the public himself. The Bureau will not be describing it. The nurse reports that he stood for the anthem, which was not playing.
4. 1:53 PM Alone on the exam table, awaiting results, he raises the phone. The shirt is gone. The eyes have seen things. This is the face of a man who has been through something so that you would not have to.
5. 1:55 PM He posts it to the nation. The nation responds with six likes and three comments. No parade is scheduled. No medal is struck. He notices.
6. 2026 He holds the gavel.

A man who will do that for his country will do anything for a league. We were told, in writing, in 2015. We made him commissioner anyway.

Finding The subject has been telling us what he is willing to endure for the people since 2015. Nobody said thank you. He has been collecting ever since.

The roster is not the problem

The subject fields Patrick Mahomes, Bijan Robinson, Justin Jefferson, Mike Evans. On paper that is a contender. In practice the Philthy Phils have scored 381.22 points, which ranks 9th of 12.

Finding Elite names, 9th-place output. The commissioner has assembled a roster he is not currently qualified to operate.

DK Metcalf is on the bench

He is right there. Week after week. The subject has left 68.96 points on his bench so far this season.

In fairness, that is 5th of 12 in the league, so the whole Bay Bowl is bad at this. It is simply more embarrassing when the man doing it wrote the rules.

Finding Not the worst lineup-setter in the league. Merely the one with the most authority.

Zero dollars spent

FAAB budget used through 3 weeks: $0.

Exactly 3 managers have spent nothing at all — Frankthetank007, PhilthyPhil444, coryspies. One of them is undefeated and does not need the help. One of them is winless and beyond it. The third is the commissioner, sitting 9th, watching the waiver wire like it owes him money.

Finding The league treasury remains untouched, much like the roster.

In the subject's defense

This part is real. The Philthy Phils have had 454.94 points scored against them, the 2nd-most in the league. Nobody chooses their schedule. A 1–2 record on that kind of incoming fire is genuinely unlucky, and any of us would be insufferable about it.

He has also, to his enormous credit, not once used the commissioner powers to do anything about it.

Finding The grievance is legitimate. The record is still the record.
